A great hotel with space style

A great hotel with space style. Less than 7 miles from Kennedy Space Center. The hotel offers a swimming pool, a fitness center, a space bar, a Starbucks and recreational games. You also have a great view of a lake.

Great for a quiet stay

Located out of town with no local amenities but superb for a quiet stay close to the Kennedy Space Centre (KSC).
Room was comfortable but don’t eat anything too smelly as room servicing is only every other day and then not everything was cleaned/replenished. Lovely touches of space themed items throughout the hotel & room; a highlight being the astronaut cosmos projector which is also sold in the hotel for $60.
Rooftop bar gives great views of the KSC & I was fortunate enough to see the last launch of 2024 from there along with a number of other guests. The binoculars supplied in the room came in handy for that.
Food and drink were good & convenient over driving somewhere to find dinner. There’s little within a 10 min drive from the hotel.
Hotel was perfect for my trip & I’d stay again if visiting the KSC.

Let me be fair - it was a nice property conveniently located for me near the Kennedy Space Center - the reason for my visit. That being said, I hate when hotels hide behind "Ecological concerns" as a reason to excuse the lack of housekeeping services. Even if they now refuse to change the sheets daily, there is no ecological reason that housekeeping can't at least visit the room daily and make the beds, empty the garbage pails and maybe replace the towels i left on the bathroom floor because they were dirty. Aside from that the ice machine on my floor was broken for the duration of my stay, as was the hot tub. Neither showed any sign of being worked on, either, so that was also not a priority for them.
For around $250-300/night i expect better. Like i said the individual staff were nice and not to be blamed for corporate cost-saving policies.

Good hotel (just a doubt)

We got what we wanted, was to be close to the Kennedy Space Center, all very well with the room and common spaces, also with the service.
My only observation was the day of the Spacex rocket launch, we went to the cafeteria upstairs, we settled early and in a good place (in the right area looking at NASA) but soon we were asked to withdraw because in that area there was a private event, we did, but it would have been very good to have placed some reservation notice that area for that event, because we could have settled in another area.
Now I hope that if it was a private event and not an excuse of "private event", (i.e. discrimination), I am thinking well and not thinking badly, hopefully they will listen to us and put up a sign for example.
It has a cafeteria downstairs and another upstairs, you can see the launches from NASA, in the area there is nothing around. It's basically for the Kennedi Space Center. If you do not have a vehicle you can take an UBER without problems.

Fine stay overall with friendly service--but avoid the sofa bed if you want a good night's sleep

This hotel is very well located for trips to the Kennedy Space Center. My husband and I slept well, but my son, who was on the pull-out couch, said that the bed was very uncomfortable. He compared it to sleeping on a chainlink fence with a sheet pulled over the top. On the plus side, service at the hotel was very friendly. I'd like to call out the person taking breakfast orders in the lobby in the morning. He was efficient and friendly, and he gave a reasonably accurate estimate for how long the order would take. Food was decent. On the downside, breakfast is not included in the hotel cost, and it can take time on a busy morning for orders to appear.
