Great hotel to stay when visiting Innsbrück and the area
We stayed for a couple of nights including Breakfast and visited Innsbruck and the area. We had dinner here once also. Great hotel. Great food and friendly people. It was hot (>30 degrees) in the days that we were there.
Small remarks for improvement: the appartment we stayed in is very bright and sunny, that is great but could do with some better curtains to make it darker so you don’t wake up that early. Also, it is a warm room which could do with either airco or windows you can keep open at night without musquitos come in.
Tips to do when you are there. Check the Innsbruck tourist info for the agenda and activities. We joined in on a free guided hiking trip and that was great! Innsbruck itself is a great city to visit and with lots to see, but also go and visit several mountain areas for stunning views and loads of activities. For example, go up the mountain with a lift and go down with a mountain cart. Great fun! Spectacular downhill trip in approx 10 minutes

Amazing, the staff are fabulous
We stayed at your lovely hotel at the beginning of July , unfortunately for only 2 nights, as part of a European tour.
We just wanted to say how wonderful all the staff were , at check in right through to our departure, we have travelled to many places in the world and have to say the staff at the Isserwirt were the best we have ever had in any of the hotels we have ever stayed in.
The location and views were amazing and nothing was too much trouble.
I have to follow a gluten free diet as I have coeliac disease and bread was bought in specially for me for which I am extremely grateful, thank you.
We didn't want to leave it was so lovely there , but we are planning to come back to Austria hopefully next year and if we do we will certainly return to your hotel

Perfect place
Perfect place near Innsbruck, with a bus for the center if needed. The owner are a family ver Nice and attentive. The appartment bedroom is large enough. All the staff is Nice. Restaurant is excellent ans not too expensive. We enjoyed our stay very much

Oozing with charm, personality and history
We were driving from Denmark to Italy and we’re looking for a clean place to spend the night that served a decent dinner and breakfast, close to the motorway and easy parking. We got all that and more.
From the moment we arrived we were welcomed warmly by a great family that has owned this property for 16 generations! The youngest son, (in his late 20s? ) who recently took over checked us in and handled a minor miscommunication we had over the phone brilliantly and with loads of humor ;-).
We were give a room on the third floor with a balcony and nice view.
The room was spacious, brand new, simple, elegant decor and bathroom (spotless clean), comfortable bed and crispy white linnen.
We had dinner in the hotel’s restaurant that seemed to receive a lot of locals - always a good sign ;-)
The food was an honest good meal, nothing refined, which I wouldn’t expect from a traditional German/Austrian kitchen- but all prepared with good products, fresh and tasty and in line with the price- very affordable. The setting was super charming, amazingly friendly service from the rest of the family. We were surrounded by historic paintings of the former generations and it was nice to see dogs and babies were allowed.
Breakfast was AMAZING, served at 07.00 am- we found all fresh local produce such as sweet pastries, breads, delicious scrambled eggs, homemade cakes, local yoghurts, cheeses, charcuteries, fresh fruits, mermelades etc. nice selection of teas and barrista coffees/cappuccino’s etc.
We are definitely coming back for a longer stay as you can do all kinds of summer and winter sports very near.

Absolutely fantastic!! First rate in every aspect...
Was there for one night in March just before the lockdown. The staff could not have been nicer! And OMG the food....amazing lunch, dinner, and breakfast - and oooooh the walks and runs you can access in the local area...highly recommended especially for a short break - we plan to return :D
