At little scandalous
After 8 days of removing mud from homes, our association had to pay the tourist tax to the structure!

SCANDALOUS AND SHAMEFUL

We are a group of VOLUNTEERS who left Calabria with the Regional mobile column of the Civil Protection department to bring aid following the flood of 02 November 2023.
The structure, as beautiful, comfortable and clean as it is, is managed by a highly rude, grumpy and money-hungry person, who has no idea what courtesy and kindness could be.
Even though we were VOLUNTEERS, the consideration for us was ZERO.
Every time we returned, his main thought was to make us cross the entrance to the SCALZI structure to avoid getting dirty.
In the evening, there was a constant grumbling about our "late" returns (never after midnight).
We stayed at the property for 7 nights. Like the worst criminals, the manager wanted to be paid at most every 2 days.
On the last evening, unfortunately, we ran out of the monthly budget for transactions via ATM, which we discovered right during the payment phase.
At that point cabaret scenes.
Although an immediate transfer was made, it was not good because it was not instantaneous (an operation that our bank is unable to do).
He even wanted to scare us by reporting that he would call the Carabinieri.
We were also in favor of this request, but he didn't want to call them.
The story was concluded by revoking the transfer and having other colleagues lend the money.
