Don't believe the bad reviews

This hotel is so much nicer than the negative reviews indicate. We stayed in the Deluxe Family Room as 2 adults and 2 teenagers, aged 15 & 16. The room was really spacious and there were a few pleasant surprises - it is almost like 2 rooms separated by a large archway, and there is a bathroom on both sides, so the boys had their own bathroom and we had ours! I was fretting as a balcony wasn't mentioned in the description, but really pleased to find we had one!
I was also worried about reviews complaining about cleaning as I am allergic to house dust, however the rooms were thoroughly cleaned daily.
We paid half board and the food was really good quality, I also need gluten free and if I requested at breakfast I was brought a big basket of GF breads and cakes. They have a selection of milks for hot drinks at breakfast, and the pool bar does GF pizza.
We liked the location by the little shopping mall and the Conad supermarket, we also walked up to Tirrenia and got the bus into Pisa a lot (tickets from the Tabbachi, return was €4 each) Pisa train station is around the corner from the bus stop and we got the train into Florence a couple of times and into Lucca, we also git the bus into Livorno and loved how friendly and pretty the city is, the indoor market is a must!
The pool area at the hotel was lovely. It was so tranquil, there was loads of space even in summer holidays in August, and if anyone came along in the afternoon and there were no available beds the lifeguards fetched more and put them wherever a guest preferred.
The only negatives I have to say is that the hotel needs investment, it has wear and tear and could be so beautiful with a little TLC.
The biggest minus for us was the beach, it is NOT FREE for any guests, despite us being told on arrival that we could have a voucher for 2 free beds. We paid €40 to visit for one day for 4 of us, and on arrival we selected sunbeds near the sea to be told by staff we needed to move, as the first 3 rows are reserved for a different hotel. We were hit by tons of beach sellers, literally one every 5-10 minutes which ruined any chance of relaxation. We're not complainers but we ended up leaving after a couple of hours. There is a free beach next to the paid beach, I'd recommend getting a couple of €9 parasols from the hardware shop in the mall and going there instead!
All of the staff were absolutely lovely and really hard working, they made us feel very welcome. If I could give the hotel 4.5 stars I would, it just loses that half star because it needs updating, and the beach situation.

Kindness always rewards..

I was at this property with my family at the end of September 2024 so out of bathing season .. I had a great time .. cleanliness comfort services and reception at the top .. comfortable bed and quiet dreams .. the structure is a bit dated but defends well ..
The kindness and professionalism of the staff was the master.. congratulations

Lovely Family Holiday - great food, relaxing pool.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large enough for 3 of us - double bed and single for a child. Clean and sheets / towels changed daily. The buffet was great changed daily and there were a lot of options, all fresh multiple pasta dishes everyday plus starters, salads and mains which include steak one day - drinks cost extra. The pool area is large there are two pools and it was very relaxed and there is a poolside bar. The grounds are vast and very well looked after they are lush and green.

September Holiday

Hotel was decent,Pool area good.
Food in Restaurant was good.
Problem was if weather was poor nothing to do.
Not much around the hotel and had to rely on supermarket if restaurant was booked.
Don't book this hotel if you want shopping and nightlife on your doorstep in September
