Recommended for business use where you can enjoy the wonderful hot springs with sulfur scent at a reasonable price

I used a single room for business without meals. You should be looking for a prestigious ryokan hot spring, a sulfur hot spring with abundant hot water, which is rare in Japan. The public bath was clad in windshield, and while looking at the fresh greenery, I was able to relax in the large, wide tub and enjoy the water that lightly smelled of sulfur. When I opened the door, there was an open-air bath with sweltering water, which was great. Unfortunately, it was too late to come back from the izakaya and the garden open-air bath (wearing hot water ami) was not available. Single rooms (no meals) are not a problem because the unit bath in the room is small, but it is assumed to be used in the public bath. It is often offered at very reasonable prices, and is recommended for business users who want to work well and enjoy the After 5 at any turn.

A hot spring inn with ties to Ujo Noguchi

I stayed here as a group the night before for work in Iwaki City. It is a large, stately inn, but there is an undeniable lack of people after COVID (as is the case throughout Japan). We had dinner and breakfast, both of which were beautifully presented and delicious. We arrived late and left after breakfast, so our stay was short and we weren't able to get a full view of the inn, but we did enjoy the hot springs. It appears to be an inn with ties to Noguchi Ujo, and there was an exhibition corner displaying items and other materials related to him, which was interesting.

Great ryokan

We are from America and visited this ryokan during between Christmas and New Years. It was great! We had a corner room with a private Onsen. The room was huge, there was just two of us but it could easily hold 4 or 5 people. It is not a far walk from the train station, we rode the train from Tokyo. The food was really good. If you don’t speak Japanese like us it is no problem here. They try as much as they can to speak English. Even if it means getting an iPad out to translate, it works! I would definitely stay here again.

Interesting, quite traditional hotel

This is an interesting place to stay. The (Western Style) rooms are a good size, although they also have Japanese style rooms which I didn't see. The hotel facilities are good, everything is very clean, and the hot springs/baths are great. Breakfast was the highlight of our stay, though, with excellent food and service.

I will visit again definitely!

I (Japanese) visited this hotel with my wife (Japanese) on 17 Mar. 2012. It was approximately one year after the disaster which had hit this area. We were notified that the day we visited was just the renewal open day, which we had not known before we arrived. Thus, the staff in the hotel welcomed us very warmly.
*FOOD* As we had enjoyed the Hawaiians which is a famous spa resort, we arrived there a bit late. We felt a bit sorry about being late for checking in, dominating the room of cafeteria and even enjoying having well prepared dinner(We did not expect such good services because we missed the dead line for the dinner..). We enjoyed chat with the staff who served us the delicious food promptly. She told us that the day we visited was just the re-open day and that deep fried greeneyes, which had been caught in this area and famous before the earthquake, came from a very distant place which was not affected radio activity. She added all of food were safe.
*ROOM* As I mentioned before, that day was the first day for the hotel after the disaster. Therefore, the air from the heating was not enough. However, the room as a whole was very clean and Japanese style bedding was so nice and warm.
*HOT SPRING* The hot spring in the building was big and clean. When you try the mixed hot spring outside the building, you have to walk 10 to 20 seconds from the door. If you visit in the winter, you feel a bit cold. But, it is quite worth walking. The atmosphere there was quite nice. I tried it in the morning.
*LOCATION* Not so far from the nearest station. Maybe just 10 minutes walk. Also, you can ask them pick up service if there is room. We used taxi from the Hawaiians(less than 2000 yen) in the night. In the morning we tried a share taxi which departed at 8:40 from the bus stop near the hotel to the Aquamarine Fukushima only for 800 yen per person. If you use this service you need to book it at the reception of the hotel at least 30 minutes before boarding.
*OVER ALL* The price of this hotel is a bit expensive. However, the quality of this hotel is worth paying definitely. Moreover they finished refurbishing I hope you enjoy your stay here. For your reference, I uploaded some pictures of the dinner, but not everything.
