Never book just any hotel!
I booked the hotel last minute as I was desperate to visit Okinawa out of curiosity. So last minute decision on booking this hotel was not a very good idea.
First of all, the hotel is located in a residential area, it's quiet, but if you walk out at night and turn left, a hundred meters away is the red light district!!! I was shocked to see this on my first night.
The size of the room is ok for one person, it's not properly cleaned , bathroom was smelly, and when I asked them for housekeeping service, I was informed that I have to pay 1,500 yen if I want my room cleaned. The bed is ok, a huge TV but without any English Channel, Internet is very slow specially at night . I also saw coakroaches crawling inside the elevator!!!
To reach downtown, it's around 20 minutes walk, or taxi around 700 yen.
Apart from the above, the staff didn't speak English at all, but been very helpful.
The management should make an effort to keep their standards high.
Definitely only a 2 stars hotel.
