Hotel is centrally located, however and sadly, it did not meet our expectations. It has lost its appeal.
The hotel does need; and or require a lot of TLC, to bring it back to life.
Some of the staff were helpful.
Furnishings are falling apart and decorations were in poor taste, and the lacks finesse... Overall disappointment... This was a gem in the past.
It has nothing to talk home about.

Ok for one practical stay over. Overpriced though.
However. When we checked in they apparently gave us the wrongroom at first (the dood wouldn't open) and then we were take to the back of the hotel to a courtyard. I seriously thought we were heading for the service quarters. That was our room (504). Apart from the leaky shower covered in drain flies and the low pressure tap, some rusty handle bars... it was okay. Until 5:40 am when staff started dumping trash in the courtyard bins while talking and laughing loudly. The then continued with cleaning the bins with high water pressure making a hell of a racket. Also the location is not very nice, kids sniffing glue in front of the hotel and during breakfast begging for food through the window. I can't blame them, but it felt very awkward.
All in all okay for a practical stay over, but would not spend a 2nd night there. I feel bad as all the staff were super friendly and caring.
