Great location

Hotel is situated a sones throw from the Red light district and Dam Square. Super hot shower and comfortable bed, brew facilities and a fridge.
Stairs are quite tricky if you've visited a coffeeshop or two.

Bad experience

Cramped, damp bedroom, very difficult to access by very steep staircase/ladder. Tiny bathroom with no ventilation. Noisy night and day. Very disappointed considering the high price.
Definitely to avoid and take a better place to stay in Amsterdam.

Great location

Stayed here for 4 nights end of Oct. This little guest house is ideal as a base..it is about 10 mins walk from train station although it took us quite a while to find it so use your phone for directions ...you will see just a plain grey door next to a little tourist gift shop. Room was clean with nice bathroom with shower. we were on the 2nd floor..the stairs are a bit of an eye opener... they are very steep ..the last set leading to our room were almost like a loft ladder !!So wouldn't suit if you struggle with stairs.. Owner Barbara is lovely and gave us lots of tips and info on where to go and what to see. We walked everywhere so no need to use the trams.

Fantastic

Just arrived home after staying the weekend here in Amsterdam.
Barbara the owner of lovely, really welcoming, the place is really handy, centre to all the nightlife.
Shower was hot and modern bathroom, bed comfortable, lovely view.

Best Location & Cosy Stay

Stayed here with my partner for a long weekend.
A few days before our holiday started we got an email from the owner of the apartments Barbara. Explaining to us where we will need to collect the keys from and how to get into the apartments and giving us her mobile number to call in case we need anything. When we landed at schipol we got the train into central dam and it was only a 10/15 minute walk to the apartment. The rooms are situated right in the heart of the red light district, perfect location. These are smoking rooms also so you can just relax about everything. The rooms aren't massive but perfect for a long weekend, come with a toilet & shower, clothing rails and seating. Small tv's in the rooms as well which was great. Would highly recommend these apartments for anyone looking for a long weekend or week break! Barbara was great came to see us as well to give us some more information about places to go and things to do but unfortunately we missed her!
