Ok hostel
Pros: good location, silent, good view, close to the main square, good wifi, clean
Cons: difficult to find, many hostels have huge signs, this one i found because of the street number, could not make payment by credit card, they claimed they did not have my reservation

The worst hostel experience so far
- Refrigerator is not for the guests. It's locked so you can't even keep any tiny little thing there and a girl got literally yelled at for trying to use it.
- They charge for keeping your luggage after you check out. Even if you're coming back to stay with them.
- Your guests are allowed only till 9 p.m. (you can freeze to death outside they wouldn't care) even though the hostel folks have guests all the time.
- The first night I stayed there, there was no water so I couldn't use the bathroom for some hours. Basically, I slept while waiting and could use it only in the morning.
- They wanted to charge me 20 soles (more than the bed price itself) for leaving a tiny bowl and a knife the sink before I rushed for my tour in the morning. The hostel was EMPTY that day, I wonder who was being so traumatized for not being able to use that tiny bowl.
- The staff had regular confrontations with the few guests who stayed there. Once over eggs for breakfast.
- But the most wonderful thing that I heard was "you need to learn Spanish before coming here or traveling to Latin America. It's one of the HOSTEL RULES". I was rolling over the floor laughing so couldn't respond to that.
The location is nice if you like peaceful environment but it's quite an uphill walk which is not so much fun with the backpack.
There are a million hostels in Cusco and many provide a bed for the same price and better services.
