Beautiful and Awesome resort in Anilao
Currently staying at this resort, was previously in Tagaytay during the eruption of Taal Volcano. I can say once i reached this resort, all my worries of safety, air quality, or anything to do with the eruption of Taal Volcano were immediately put to rest. The air is clean and clear, the waters are beautiful, the weather is unbeatable. Not to mention the staff are possibly the nicest people i have met during my time in the Philippines. They will make sure you enjoy your stay, they will feed you fantastic fresh food, and they will help you with absolutely anything you will need. Whether during a volcano eruption or not, stay at this place and you will not regret it. I had never been to a place so far from home that made me feel so at home in my entire life. Cant say enough good things about this place, im in love.

Worst resort in Mabini Batangas
Great view and location BUT.......They are not following city ordinance. Karaoke from 8:00AM until night time. No consideration to other guest. Hidden charges when you check in. Staff and even the owner are rude!!

Nice Family Friendly Dive Resort
My family and I are regular guests at Bubblemaker. It is a very well run, right on the beach resort designed with divers in mind. It’s not a five star hotel but has very nice air conditioned rooms. Food is good and slightly pricey but not excessively so and they do use fresh ingredients with have great table service. The surrounding area can be slightly noisy at night but again it’s generally at an acceptable level. You can dive right off the beach which is fantastic for night dives. The resort had there own dive boat and dive masters. Your equipment is assembled for you and washed for you. When back from a dive they have hot showers and towels in the dive area - a really nice touch. The staff really go out of their way to make you fell welcome.

Worst resort experience I have ever had! Do not stay here!
At first glance, the place looks quite cozy in pictures and has a tropical feel because of the abundance of bamboo used in the design. Just a short drive from Lipa City (1 hour and 15 minutes) or Manila (2 and a half hour drive)
But staying there is another matter as you can hear everything.
At around 10 pm at our room, we woke up due to excessive noise from downstairs. To our surprise,the owner was with her friends drinking, talking loudly and playing loud music at the restaurant until the wee hours of the morning. At around 11 PM we couldn't take it anymore, so I went down from our room and talked to the owner to tell them to keep the noise down because people were trying to sleep. Being the owner of the hotel/resort, you'd think her first priority would be her guests staying at the hotel, she and her group continued to be noisy until 1:30 AM. Wanted to leave the hotel that night if only there was another place that was open and still accepted guests.
Other things to note about this resort.
Food is overpriced.
Television in rooms do not have any channels.
The only good part was that upon checkout the owner gave us a lower room rate. But too little too late. Me and my wife weren't able to get a good nights sleep.
Do not waste your money on this place.

Beauty, Hospitality & Tranquility
Bubblemaker is a beautiful slice of paradise tucked away in the quiet bay of Anilao.
Jxo (the manager), Christie, Ella and the rest of the team were so warm and welcoming. They really go out of their way to ensure you are happy and relaxed. It is a family run place and you feel that warmth instantly.
The views out over the tranquil bay from the bamboo decking are amazing. You could sit back on the beanbags and watch the water for hours as flying fish shoot past, octopuses and fishing boats float by and the waves gently lap against the small pebble beach.
The diving facilities are great for macro diving and night dives, and Jxo leant us the kayak so we were able to go out and explore for ourselves.
The food is simple, fresh and delicious and they were more than happy to customise dishes on their menu to accommodate my gluten allergy. Items on the menu are seasonal so sometimes not available, but we found this is the same across all other places to eat in the local area.
It was so beautiful, we decided to stay another night!
If you’re looking for a super chilled, slow paced break, we couldn’t recommend Bubblemaker highly enough.
