Above excellence!

The guesthouse is not very central or very easy to find, but a good GPS should make the trip fairly straight forward. We arrived at the Casa File de Poveste in the late afternoon and were welcomed by the owner who made us feel right at home. We booked two rooms but had the entire guesthouse to ourselves: kitchen, living room, terrace, all of it.
The rooms are very spacious, clean and nicely decorated.
The host is very kind and helpful.
We were thrilled to find such a little gem in Targu Jiu and we will surely be back soon!

The host cancelled my booking at check-in. DO NOT GO THERE!!

I have booked a room at this house a week in advance (for the weekend November 28-29), and confirmed by phone two days before check-in.
In the evening when I was supposed to check-in (arrived at the facility around 6 PM, in a rainy day), the host announced me that "sorry, we cannot accommodate you as we have a larger group that extended their stay".
Let's say I can accept that, but I asked 1. how come they did not call me a few hours in advance to ask me if this is acceptable, and 2. to arrange me a different accommodation at the same price (should there be any price difference, they should cover that).
She shrugged her shoulders.
So I would advice that you avoid this hotel in the future, terrible experience.

Amazing place!

The villa is beautiful and elegant. The hosts are a perfect kindness. The rooms are spacious and bright. There is a very nice living. It's quiet and everything is very clean. Basically feel the tranquility of a home rather than a hotel room.
Attitude is a special home, it provides that touch of hospitality along with traditional services of a hotel.
Good and plentiful breakfast.
A little difficult to find in the city.
This is truly a place for heart and soul!

Parfait !!!

Un peu difficile a trouver mais une très bonne surprise. La dame est très sympa très serviable. la maison est neuve le mobilier et la propreté parfaits !! Le petit déjeuner le lendemain a la commande était énormément copieux. Sûrement le logement chez l'habitant le plus agréable que nous ayons fait.
