Best hostel yet!!

We arrived to the hostel after a 9 hour journey and the owners were so welcoming and accommodating! Our whole stay has been amazing! The hostel is very clean, very modern and such a great place to stay! Massive Thankyou to backpack hostel for the best stay we will be sure to recommend you to any other travellers we meet!

This is the Hostel to stay at!

There are few words to emphasize how passionate this hostel is about the region and the people that stay there! The MOST helpful and friendly front desk that you will find travelling. From getting scooters, to planning routes, to recommending food spots they know their stuff! I was sad to leave Chaing Rai because of the great time I had here. I started every morning with a roof top work out and then a coffee in the lobby - unreal vibe! I can’t say enough about Ness and Apple, and their pup Wes. They go above and beyond and genuinely care about every person that walks through the doors. Would recommend this hostel to everyone, and think it in itself is a reason to visit Chiang Rai!!
The rooms are great. Lots of washrooms so there was never a wait. This is the place to stay - you won’t regret it!

AMAZING HOSTEL YOU NEED TO STAY AT

We stayed at backpack hostel after reading such a good reviews - and they were all right! The hosts really made the experience so pleasurable with their recommendations and greetings when we’d return from trips. Their dog Wesley greeted us when we left our bags, and every morning and evening when we got back - he really made the stay amazing! The free coffee, water, bananas and other snacks available throughout the day were a nice add on. The roof top terrace was nice if it wasn’t raining so much we’d have used it more, and plenty of toilets and showers available on each floor. Overall we highly recommend this hostel, it has a very homely feel with the lovely hosts and Wesley their dog!
They are honestly so welcoming and helpful, haven’t stay in a hostel so good ever before!

Amazing Hostel!

Amazing Hostel, the owners are sweetest and kind,The bed are comfortable,the room spacious and it's a minute walk to the night Barbara,local restaurants near by,The hosts are do friendly A rooftop chill out zone which a great addition! Highly recommend! Fabulous stay

DO NOT STAY ANYWHERE ELSE

there’s so much I could say about this place! First of all, Apple and Nez are genuinely 2 of the nicest people I have ever met. You can tell how passionate they are about the city and that they really want each guest to have a memorable experience. Their knowledge and advice made the trip 10 times better than it would have been without their help. Not only that, the dorm beds are HUGE and more like a double - such a soft mattress also. The bathroom is nice and modern too. The rooftop area is such a nice place to relax and play cards or have a drink at sunset/after dark. The free breakfast they provide is also a good one, simple yet delicious. I will definitely stay here at some point in the future, so that I can see Apple and Nez again!
