18 December 2012 – Leading travel search site Skyscanner has opened its first office in Glasgow and has launched a recruitment drive as it aims to recruit an additional 100 members of staff across Scotland in the next 12 months.
Skyscanner is looking for talented web developers, marketing managers and IT services specialists to support the business’ continued growth.
Skyscanner already has over 150 staff at its Edinburgh HQ and all staff in Scotland will be able to choose whether to be based in either Edinburgh or at the new Glasgow office on 151 West George Street.
Cathy Wilson, Skyscanner’s Talent Director said: ““The new Glasgow office is a great addition to our bases in Edinburgh, Singapore and Beijing, and allows us to offer even more employment opportunities in Scotland at a time when the country needs it. We look forward to attracting some of the finest talent across the central belt to both our Glasgow and Edinburgh office over the coming months.”
