What to expect in Venice
Venice is one hour ahead of Birmingham and the currency is the Euro (€). Prices in Venice are similar to what you would expect to pay in Birmingham, and at times can be slightly more expensive. This is not a budget city break destination. There's no traffic in Venice, due to the canals, so if you're planning on hiring a car you will need to park it in the large car parks just outside the city centre.
