Bristol Airport is one of Britain's busiest airports. It has all the facilities you'd expect, including currency exchanges and ATMs. In the departure lounge you'll find a good range of shops, including duty free and travel stores and high-street favourites. There are two coffee shops, Starbucks and Soho Coffee Company, ideal if you're on the early flight. The airport also has two bars, Cabin and the Brunel Bar & Kitchen, if you need a stronger tipple. Both offer tasty pub grub as well as craft beer and other boozy beverages.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the terminal for 60 minutes. There are two executive lounges, for those who like to get away from the hustle and bustle of the departure hall. Both are run by Aspire, and are available to all passengers on all airlines for a fee. The Aspire Lounge costs £19.99* to access while the slightly fancier Aspire Plus costs £29.99*. Note that the Plus lounge is adults only.
Terminal Information – Arriving
Split Airport is about 15.5 miles away from the city centre. There are a few ways to get from the airport to town.
· Bus 37 leaves the airport every half hour. Tickets cost HRK 16.*
· A shuttle bus meets every flight during high season, leaving the airport every ten minutes on average. Tickets cost HRK 33*.
· Taxis take about half an hour to reach the city centre. Expect to pay about HRK 270.*
· Europcar, Alamo, Hertz, Sixt, Dollar and Thrifty all provide car hire at Split Airport.
