If you've got a lot of time to kill you can sit down for a bigger meal at The Sandpiper pub or the Italian American restaurant Frankie & Benny's. Terminal Information – Arriving

Newcastle Airport has one terminal. The airport is about six miles away from the city centre and has plenty of public and private transport options. The Metro is the fastest way to reach 'the toon', with a journey time of 20 minutes. Tickets to Monument station cost £3.60.* A number of buses and coaches also run between the airport and the city, but journey time varies based on traffic. Metered cabs are available from the airport's taxi rank, and usually charge about £15* for a trip into the city centre. Practical Information
