Newcastle International Airport, serving the north east of England is situated 6 miles to the north of Newcastle upon Tyne. When travelling on flights to Nice you should ensure you arrive at Newcastle Airport at least two hours before your flight departure time. Easyjet do not have check-in desks at the airport so it's important that you use the online or mobile check-in facilities up to two hours before your flight. There are bag drop desks which can be found in the check-in hall for any hold luggage, these close 40 minutes before the flight. If you're travelling with hand luggage only you can go straight to the security checks once you arrive at the airport.

Nice Airport
There are two terminals at Nice Cote d'Azure Airport and Easyjet flights from Newcastle arrive into Terminal 2, the Arrivals Hall is located on the ground floor of the terminal building.
The airport is located 6km from the city centre with buses, taxis and hire cars available to help you make the final leg of your trip. Despite the airport being so close to the city, taxis operate on a fixed fare basis which is €35 for a single trip with additional charges for late night/early morning journeys, additional luggage or over three passengers. It takes around 10 minutes to drive from Nice Airport to Nice.
